Martha Appel was formerly the Vice President and Designated Broker for Coldwell Banker Realty, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anywhere Advisors LLC, from 2005 to June 2024. Prior to that time, Martha was the Director of Broker Relations and Legal Liaison for Coldwell Banker Success Realty, a Coldwell Banker franchise, from 1997 to 2005, which was then acquired by Anywhere Advisors LLC. Real estate is Martha’s passion. She has served on numerous Arizona Association of Realtors® (AAR) committees and workgroups. She has been a member of AAR’s Risk Management Committee for more than 20 years and was the Chairperson of this Committee in 2007 and 2015. Martha chaired the 2015 and 2017 AAR Residential Resale Purchase Contract revision workgroup. She has been a member of AAR’s Professional Standards Committee since 2006. She also continues to serve on the Arizona Regional MLS Rules Committee since 2013. She has been a Certified Arizona Department of Real Estate instructor since 2000 and has also served on numerous Arizona Department of Real Estate committees. Martha is the proud recipient of AAR’s 2013 Arthur G. Crozier Distinguished Service Award. She is also the honored recipient of the Arizona Journal of Real Estate & Business First Annual 2015 Real Estate Broker of the Year Award. She was the single recipient of the 2015 National NRT Coldwell Banker Standing Ovation Award for her dedication and service to the Company. Martha is married to Scott, she has two grown children, one grandson and is Mom to a precious hound-mix, Daisy. Martha and Scott love to travel in their spare time.
